The CanVec product is a product distributed on GeoGratis subject to a discrepancy detection process endorsed by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). A discrepancy observation results from a difference detected between CanVec data or metadata and the CanVec product standards and specifications. This discrepancy detection process is in place to maintain and improve CanVec product.
